Coming back to the Midwest, however, my soul leaped when this nice, dark storm approached from the Southwest. It was severe in several areas, but not right over our part of town. It rumbled and flashed constantly as it approached. I hope to see more like it as we advance into Spring.

April 23rd Storm
Thunderstorms are one of the things I missed the most during my 11 year stay in Western Washington. We seldom had any, and the ones that did roll over only thundered once or twice, then moved on over the Cascades.
Coming back to the Midwest, however, my soul leaped when this nice, dark storm approached from the Southwest. It was severe in several areas, but not right over our part of town. It rumbled and flashed constantly as it approached. I hope to see more like it as we advance into Spring.
